Ragged Riders launched in 2016 and became a formal club in 2017, providing residents of Yellowknife with access to snowboarding and freestyle skiing at the city’s Bristol Pit complex.

No matter your level, Ragged Riders invited you to try the continually improving facilities at Bristol Pit – and bring the family! The club’s focus for the season is making sure all members of the family feel comfortable and confident on the slopes: our instructors will provide all the guidance you need, whether you’re a complete novice or a developing athlete.

The club has snowboard rental equipment available for day or season-long use at great rates, alongside day passes and season passes for access to the facility.

Operating Hours

The terrain park and lift are open to all pass holders (you must hold a day pass or season pass) at the following times:

Saturdays from 1pm till 4pm
Sundays from 1pm till 4pm
Wednesdays from 6:30pm till 9pm

Operating hours commence in January and run through to the end of the season in mid-April. If you would like to support as a lift operator or hill supervisor to help us keep the facilities open, please email us for more information!
